Spirit Night - Tuesday, Dec 6th

Thanks for participating in Parent's Night! A disappointing loss for everyone but exciting because upcoming wins can be believed in and achieved!

The Tshirt order is in.  You can stop by Crossovers and give your money to one of the Joyals and get your shirts!  You can also purchase one or more in the store if you missed out or thought of someone else that you'd like to purchase one for.

Our next home game is this coming Tuesday at 8 p.m. and is Spirit Night. Virginia Morgan will be singing the National Anthem.   Lee Haase will be giving all the players and managers 20 two part tickets to hand out at school on Tuesday.  The students will bring them to the game and one half will go in the bucket for the drawing and the other half stay with the student.  Students who don't get them at school will be able to get one at the entrance to MIA on Tuesday Night.  Everyone in attendance will receive a coupon for a discounted stay at the Kalahari that can be used on certain dates in December and January.

Between the 2nd and 3rd period, the announcer (who we can understand!) will announce the first two numbers he picks out of the bucket.  Those two lucky students will come down on the ice and do a shoot out.  The winner will receive an overnight stay for 4 at the Kalahari!  During this time, the announcer will read off a few more numbers for the other giveaways which include gift certificates for The Laurel, Pizza Brutta, Pancheros, Pasquals, Video Station, 5 t shirts, and (most likely) Subway & Noodles (don't have these receipts in my hands yet but have been promised them).  Lee Haase will be giving out the certificates.  If someone would like to coordinate the shoot out on the ice, I'd be happy!  Pucks and sticks will be available so I just need someone to help the two students out on the ice with their pucks and sticks and set them up at the blue line to shoot at the nets.  Please let me know if you are willing to do this.  With any luck, "Reggie" will also be out there helping to boost the Spirit. (Costume is being cleaned and I'm waiting to hear that it will be ready by Tuesday).  The winner will get the Kalahari envelope as they step off of the ice.

Students will also be able to pick up copies of our favorite poster as they exit the game.

Quite simple.  The goal is a large group of students to cheer on the team!

Have a great weekend.  See you all Tuesday!
